Royal Solutions Connects East River Medical Imaging to Aprima Physician EHR System at Hospital for Special Surgery with Bi-Directional feed

New York, NY – November 10, 2011
Royal Solutions Group LLC, a premier provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to the Health Care industry along with its health information exchange (HIE), has connected its Report Guard® bi-directional interoperability software between East River Medical Imaging’s GE Centricity RIS and Hospital for Special Surgery’s Aprima Physician EHR. This connectivity performs two main functions; it allows the hospital physicians to send orders directly from their EMR system to the imaging center’s scheduling system, and it allows the imaging center to return imaging results and links back to the physicians EMR system. Sharing results and orders is critical to the success of healthcare automation, improved patient care and business process optimization, including Stage 2 Meaningful Use (MU).

Imaging center receives orders electronically at the point of entry from referring providers directly to an internal folder share
